Driving lessons in English
Here at Trafikkskolen Vesterålen we can offer full courses in English, however this has to be planned and agreed on with the teachers ahead of time before you start any part of your lessons. Feel free to contact us on phone or email to arrange this, or if you have any questions regarding driving in Norway!
Practical Test
Whilst we can provide lessons in English, you should keep in mind that you do not have a right to take your practical test at Statens Vegvesen in English, even if all your lessons were in English. An interpreter can be used in your practical test, but they have to be approved by Statens Vegvesen, and you are responsible for the cost of hiring the interpreter yourself.
Theoretical Test
The theoretical test are also done at Statens Vegvesen, where you can take the test in English, aswell as in a small selection of other languages. You can also use an interpreter, though this has to be booked in advance with Statens Vegvesen.
